At the just concluded Felabration , which Femi Kuti took part as one of the hosts. While responding to question if he sees Lagbaja as a threat, the singer said the fellow musician is never a competitor.
Femi said he has been “friends forever” with Lagbaja, who he said they both “used to play together when he and Lagbaja first started out.”
Femi also reveals that he and the singer still get along well, adding that Lagbaja is no threat to him and he sees himself as a competitor rather than someone else. “We get on very well I make myself my competitor.”
